There's no doubt that sovereignty of Sikh institutions has to be number-1 priority of Sikh activists & thinkers. But if our approach to bring the change is not aligned with Gurbani, the change (badlaav) can land us in more troubled waters. June 28 gathering does exactly the same. It was a step backward. It lacked transparency, and tries to give a direction which is diametrically opposite to the core of Gurmat principles.
