I would just like to comment that we should be careful about upholding these singers as being champions of the panth, Sikhi and sangaarsh. Shubh backtracked hard and changed the meaning of the image for the sake of being like by Indians. AP Dhillion also gave a horrifically weak response for commercial reasons. Even Sidhu Moosewala was a Congress supporter and flipped on the panthic switch after he lost the elections. You either believe that the Khalsa is on one side and the world on the other, or you don't. Its as simple as that.
We need to give some space and also support our people against Hindutva aggression. We don’t have to agree or like the content they produce but they should be protected. They never claimed that they are leaders of Panth and youth should follow them. Panth is sustained by Khalsa of Guru. No disrespect but your comment about Sidhu Moosewala is absolutely wrong and disrespectful , he died giving voice to Punjab , and people are calling him congressi supporter, congressi supporter wouldn’t write songs like Punjab, SYL and may be many more to come. Indian state knew what he can do for Punjab and eliminated him.
I think this is somewhat naive, the world is ugly and some have to play a dirty game politically to get the right outcome.
I don’t know if that applies to any of these singers but could be a case of “getting into bed with the enemy” and manipulating it from within.
The world isn’t black and white, I wish it was, but being too pure may not bring us closer to the desired outcome of freeing our panth from subjugation by the Brahmin regime.
