Given that 99.99% Sikhs are against any such separatist , violent right wing ideologies , Why do khalisantis hijack every such community event forcing the entire community to be maligned We should not allow such futile , ill conceived politician ideas. “Self determination” is a tall order for a community who can barely manage even a simple gurdwara : we literally hit the headlines with “2 factions attack each other in gurdwara”. Name any Sikh run business that has not fallen apart within a few years . What is the pint of having a Nagar Kirtan when thisni clearly not a tradition ? Other minority communities don’t need such street shows because their achievements speak for themselves. Well respected professions , industry leaders , academia, reporters , intellectuals. High ranking Military officers, national level politicians. What have we done ? Allowed semi literate pendu-mindset folks to the fore ??

What evidence do you have for that "99.9%"? When its convenient, "only foreign Sikhs support Khalistan", and when the farmers protest then suddenly every Punjabi was a Khalistani. Nobody takes these fake statistics seriously.
The whole idea of ‘Khalistan” was a political gimmick imposed on thr Sikhs to somehow justify govt brutality. Sikhs never demanded any separate state even during the 80s crises . Even today, Indian agencies use the same dirty tricks- calling any Sikh political assertion as ‘separatist / Khalistani’. Do not fall for that trap. All ‘’Khalistanis’ you see in these events are agent provoceuters. Their acts get a lot of negative publicity in Indian media only to further the RSS/ BJP politics of hate and divisiveness. Besides, Sikhs should focus on improving their own economic status and assimilate into our new homes in the west There is no excuse for a lack of progress in Canada. What is the quality of politicians we have produced ? Why are Sikh's selling off lands in Punjab and emigrating ? Why are Jatts not following the tenets of Sikhism (drinking , smoking, anger, ego and lack of education , bad attitude).. ,how many are doing illegal things ?
